League Basketball

On Monday 27th April our league basketball team attended the monthly league tournament.  We played three other schools Meanwood, St Vincent and Lowerplace, the results of these matches were 1 win and 2 losses. Our players will now me practising for  the up and coming finals next month.  Well done team.  

Greater Manchester Cross Country Championship!

What an achievement by Sean and Elissa! Our two children qualified and were selected from children across the North West for this competition. Rochdale Borough School Games Partnership

Dodgeball Wardle Academy- March 26th Children, prepare for one of the games of dodgeball. Our children attended the tournament which was a popular event with 10 other schools taking part. Our team survived unscathed after what can only be described as fast and furious. Not for the faint hearted. Well done Sacred Heart!

One for the girls!

A well-attended event hosted by St Mary’s Middleton. The girls showed true determination throughout all of their nail biting matches. Results were 1 win and 2 draws. Keep up the good work girls.

Football St Marys

Sacred Heart RC took part in a football tournament organised by Rochdale Borough School Games Partnership at St Marys Middleton. Hockey Quicksticks St Marys

A small group of year 6 children took part in a hockey quicksticks tournament at St Mary’s Primary Langley. Our children transferred newly acquired skills into a team effort and played several games against other school. A good sporting display,well done to all who took part.

Mini stars

A mixture of year 1 and  year 2 children were selected to participate in a mini stars event hosted at Wardle Acadamy. Soccer Factory

Our children were very excited to be invited to enter into a football tournament organised by Rochdale football club. The children played in several 5 a side action packed matches against other schools. Although we did not qualify for the play off, a good time was had by all. Good effort boys!
