On Monday morning the children in Foundation and Key Stage 1 had their Christmas Party there was lots of fun, games and dancing they had a wonderful time.

On Friday all the children and staff wore their Christmas Jumpers for National Christmas Jumper day – donations were received for Save The Children – a very worthy cause I am sure you will agree.
On Thursday the children in Years 1 and 2 performed an afternoon and evening production of “It’s a party”. It was lovely to see so many parents,grandparents,carers,aunties and uncles.
On Wednesday morning , parents and carers of our Nursery and Reception children were invited into school to watch their children’s fabulous Christmas production.

On Tuesday Father O’Kane celebrated Mass in school for the second week of Advent and also for St Nicholas’ Feast Day. It is lovely to see so many parents/carers and grandparents, everyone is always welcome.

We did have a very busy Thursday as “The Friends” of Sacred Heart held their annual Christmas Fair. Everybody enjoyed hot turkey sandwiches, craft stalls, games, raffles, tombolas, balloons and our very popular bake stall. On Thursday our Year 6 visited St Thomas’ Church in Delph to “Experience Christmas” the children all thoroughly enjoy their visits and we would like to say a big thank you for your kind invitation.
