Year 6 – Ice Cream Treat

On Friday the children in Year Six had a lovely surprise. The ice cream van came to school and they where all able to choose a ice cream/ice lolly as a special treat for being the only class in our school  to have 100% attendance for two weeks running


Special Mass – Salford Cathedral

On Thursday 9th June two of our children represented the school at a special Mass at Salford Cathedral to celebrate the work of our family of Catholic schools in supporting St Joseph’s Penny. RSPB School Birdwatch

On Tuesday the RSPB visited our school and worked with children across the key stages.  The children went out into the school grounds looking at different birds and their habitats.

Attendance Awards

During our special Sacred Heart Assembly Mrs Dungworth present children from right across the school with attendance awards. They received a certificate and a medal if their attendance was 100% during this half term.    


Sacred Heart Feast Day

On Friday we celebrated the feast of The Sacred Heart when the children came into school wearing anything red. We also celebrated  with a special assembly and all of the children had an ice-cream treat!  Two of our children visited Father O’Kane where they presented the Parish with a floral gift.


Year 6 – First Aid Course

We had a very busy Friday as our Year 6 completed a first aid course, which, I am sure you will agree, is a very important life skill.  


Little Hearts – final session

Our Little Hearts Club held its final session on Thursday 26th May – a big thank you to everyone who was able to attend  and we look forward to seeing some of your little faces again when you join us in September in our Nursery and Reception classes.  


Tag Rugby – St Cuthberts
