Kurling Avent

This week  three of our Year 6 children took part in a Boccia and new age Kurling Event at Wardle Academy.  This was the first time our school have participated in this particular event.  The children enjoyed themselves and showed some supper skills.  


The Big Bird Watch

Children across the school have taken part in the Big Schools Birdwatch to support the RSPB’s research. With binoculars and identification charts the children greatly enjoyed spotting and naming birds around the school grounds. Our results will be sent to the RSPB to help them look after our countries bird and wildlife.      


Our New Outdoor Classroom

Our new Outdoor Classroom is now finished and the children are very much looking forward to taking more of their lessons outdoors. The classroom was paid for through all of the fund raising events organised and run by the Friends of Sacred Heart and through the generosity of our families. Well done Year 3

Well done Year 3 for being the first class this year to achieve 100% attendance. Mrs Dungworth bought the children a special treat to celebrate their efforts and the class are all very proud of themselves.

Playground Pals

A very proud Sports Coach
