Admissions Policy 2017-2018
On Thursday our Year 5 visited St Cuthbert’s RC High school for an IT and Media morning – where the children used creative media using power point to create a TV advert to promote our school A big thank you for inviting us, the children loved their experience.
Well done to our fantastic team who work so hard in our school kitchen and are one of only 10 schools to receive an award from the Greater Manchester Catering Award as recognition for the promotion of healthier choices in schools. On Wednesday 16th March we welcomed parents/carers and governors to our Lenten Café Church. This was an opportunity to come together to pray and reflect on the season of Lent through lots of creative activities.
On Thurday 10th March Sacred Heart Church hosted a wonderful Parish and Deanery Event. Eight Priests, one Deacon, the Rev. This week our curriculum house competition is continuing, this has been a great success with the children. Our sporting theme for this week is tag rugby and the children have all shown great competitive spirit. As part of our science work this half term, the whole school took part in the ‘Rocket Mouse’ experiment.
