On Wednesday evening parents and children from our Year 4,5,6 classes took part in our ‘Right Click’ Esafety workshop in connection with BT and Unicef. Working together we explored many different ways to keep our children safe whilst using the internet on computers, tablets and games consoles. We discussed the ‘good’ and ‘bad’ of the internet and what to do if cyber bullying occurs.
We talked about some of the ‘Rights’ outlined in the Convention for the Rights of the Child. These included – Children have a right to privacy. Children have a right to information. Children have the right to be protected from forms of exploitation.
