Year 6 Mindfulness sessions

Year 6 had two sessions on mindfulness and relaxation techniques before their important SAT tests. This is what the children had to say:
“I thought it very relaxing and helped me quite a lot on my SATs. My favourite part was when we lay down on the mats and thought about how we felt. It was so relaxing – I nearly fell asleep!”
“What helped me to be relaxed was to focus on my breathing before doing an activity. Also the stress ball was good to relieve stress before a SAT test.”
