This week I am visiting the Year 3 class as they prepare to be presented at church Sacred Heart RC Church this weekend. They are all very excited. Miss Fleming has told me that if I’m a really good teddy I can go with her on Saturday.

A mixture of year 1 and year 2 children were selected to participate in a mini stars event hosted at Wardle Acadamy. The children were required to take part in a range of activities which had been organised. There were a large number of other schools attending this event. Our children were very excited to be invited to enter into a football tournament organised by Rochdale football club. The children played in several 5 a side action packed matches against other schools. Although we did not qualify for the play off, a good time was had by all. Good effort boys!

On Friday 23rd January our year 6 children presented their class assembly to the school, parents/carers, families and friends. The theme of their assembly was new beginnings and ambitions.
