One for the girls!

A well-attended event hosted by St Mary’s Middleton. The girls showed true determination throughout all of their nail biting matches. Results were 1 win and 2 draws. Keep up the good work girls.


Lenten Mass

On Tuesday we continued our journey through Lent. Fr Fabian celebrated Mass with the whole school on the theme of sharing. The children, staff and Spiritan team made it a wonderful celebration and it was nice to see the parents/carers who were able to join us.  


This Weeks Statement to live by

Our statement to live by for week commencing 9th March is.. I can learn from my mistakes and failures. Everyone makes mistakes. If we did not make mistakes we would not be truly human. The children prepared and read some very thoughtful prayers and reflections and two children carried a forgiveness banner during the offertory.  After Mass the children in key stage two received the Sacrament of Reconciliation with Fr Fabian and Fr David. Mothers Day Meal

We were delighted to see so many Mums and carers for our special Mothers’ Day meals on Wednesday and Thursday. Everyone had a lovely time and commented on how good our school dinners are! Thank you to all of the ladies in our kitchen for your hard work.

Football St Marys

Sacred Heart RC took part in a football tournament organised by Rochdale Borough School Games Partnership at St Marys Middleton. The results from the competition were a win, a loss and a draw which did not truly reflect the high level of football demonstrated by our team.
