We had a fantastic time on our school trip to Heaton Park and it didn’t rain!! Woohoo!!
First we met Alex, a park ranger, who showed us around the farm. We saw lots of different animals, our favourites were the little guinea pigs (we got to stroke them!) and the new born rabbits. He asked us to try to think of a name for them. After he took us on a nature walk hunting for different wildlife in the woods. The squirrels came really close to us to see if we had food. Soon it was time for lunch and Mrs McDonald had packed us a super picnic! Yum! In the afternoon we had lots of fun on the adventure playground. There was a massive slide, a tyre swing and monkey bars. We had so much fun!
