A fantasic effort by all the children in year 3 who attended our first Cross Country Competition at Broadfield Park. They competed against children from Little Heaton Primary School and Broadfield School, in conditions which can only be discribed as extermely Hot! I big well done to all who competed.

On Friday 13th June the children in year 5 went to visit the Spiritans Just Youth Team in Salford. During their visit they learnt how to prepare themselves to be good Year 6 role models.They worked in groups playing games, making posters and having discussions.

The Year 1 children really enjoyed their trip to Touchstones. They learnt all about Amimal Habbitats, working in groups finding out lots of information and drawing pictures.
Our year 1 children were brilliant when they presents their class assembly to the whole school and parents/carers They acted out the story of Jesus appearing to Thomas the other disciples.

On Thursday I watched the film Frozen with the children who stayed after school for our cinema night. All the children sang along to the theme song and I joined in too. I even had some popcorn, Its was great!
On Thursday evening the children in classes Year 1 – Year 6 enjoyed our cinema evening, organised by Friends of Sacred Heart RC School. The children tucked into popcorn and juice whilst singing along to the theme tune of Frozen. The evening raised over £200, which as always will be used to support future events… Read more »
