Basketball league games Our year 6 basketball team continue with success in the local basketball league. The children attend monthly fixtures where their performances have been outstanding. Based on recent performances Sacred Heart RC remain place high up on the league table and hope to continue with such great results.
I have been a busy bear today. I’ve been helping our children load the Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes on to a big van . The boxes are full of Christmas gifts for children of all different ages.

On Friday the 7th November our School Council organised a Wacky Hair and Pyjama day to raise money for Leukaemia Care. One of our teachers is currently receiving treatment for Leukaemia and the children thought this would be a fun way to show our support. We all had a fantasic day and raised £311.00! The Friends of Sacred Heart organised a Fashion Show Evening held in the school hall to raise money for our school. The event was very well attended by parents and parishioners and raised £600. Thank you to the friends and everyone who was able to support the event.
On Tuesday 4th November 2014 Fr Fabian celebrated our whole school Mass on the feast of All Saints and All Souls Day. Children from Key 2 read bidding prayers and Key Stage 1 children presented the offertory.
