I am a very lucky bear! When the children from Year 5 went to St Thomas’ Delph to experience Lent, they took me with them. I joined in with the children as they did lots of Lenten activities. We all had a wonderful time.

On the 14th March our Year 5 children visited St Cuthbert’s High School and were impressed by the new building and facilities. The children especially enjoyed using the I Macs to make their information leaflets.
On Wednesday 2nd April our Year 5 children visited St Thomas’ Delph were they experienced Len through lots of different reflections and activities. The children had a wonderful time and greatly enjoyed their visit.
Well done to the children in our Reception class who presented a beautiful Mothers Day assembly to the whole school as well as parents/carers.

The Friends’ of Sacred Heart fashion show held on Wednesday was a great success, thank you for your continued support – watch out for the next one!
We were delighted to see so many Mums and carers for our special Mothers’ Day meals. Everyone had a lovely time and commented on how good our school dinners are! Thank you to all of the ladies in our kitchen for your hard work. More pictures in Gallery
Four children represented our school at the recent Community Cohesion event at Broadfield Primary. Our children always enjoy the opportunity to work with children from other school and to learn from each other.
Many of our children across the school have been sharing their gifts and talents as part of the Rochdale Music Festival.
