School Life

Our Roman Catholic Statement to Live by is ‘I think before I make choices that effect my health’.

Thank you to those parents/carers who were able to attend the e-safety meeting on Monday evening. The talk proved to be very useful and everyone who attended felt better informed on how to keep their children safe. We will be providing further support regarding e-safety for both the children and parents in the new year – details to follow.

It was lovely to see our Nursery and Reception Class parents on Wednesday morning who came to work with their children to make their Advent Promises and Stars.

On Wednesday and Thursday evening our netball teams represented the school – as ever we were especially proud of their attitudes and sportsmanship.

To celebrate the start of Advent and to begin to prepare ourselves for this very special time the whole school community celebrated a special Mass in the school hall. The theme of our Mass was ‘candles’ and each of the class contributed beautifully to the celebration. This was followed by a special Advent Assembly presented by the children in year 2, again thank you to those parents who were able to join us.

Reminder: Learning Logs are to be returned to school on Monday 2nd December 2013.
