Our Roman Catholic Statement to Live By is, ‘I can say how I feel’.
October is the month of the Holy Rosary and in school the children have led prayers together in their classroom and together as a school community.
We were delighted to see so many of our families at Church for the Crowning of Our Lady. In particular, we were especially proud of the children in years three and four who looked wonderful in their school uniforms and First Holy Communion clothes.
The Learning Logs the children have returned to school are brilliant and we are very pleased with the hard work they have put into completing them, thank you parents / carers for your continued support.
This week our year six children have also enjoyed a fun filled visit to Crucial Crew where they learnt lots about keeping themselves and others safe.
We are delighted with our School Council how worked very hard to organise last week’s Fun Day in aid of the Malawi orphanage which raised a spectacular total of £350.00. A huge thank you to all of our families for the kindness.
Next week is Book Week, and as well as lots of fun activities in school, the children will have opportunity on Friday 11.10.13 to come to school dressed as a character from a book or in their own clothes. We are asking children to make a donation towards our fund raising for the Malawi Orphanage.
