This weeks  Roman Catholic statement to live by is “I stand up for people who are being treated unfairly”

Today Saturday, is a wonderful celebration for all our the children in our Parish who will receive the Sacrament of First Holy Communion.

Final count not quite in yet  but  so far the Sacred Heart Food Festival raised in excess of £1,000  – once again a big thank you to everyone who organised this and to those who supported us on evening.

Year 6 had a very enjoyable visit to Manchester Museum of Science and Industry where they also enjoyed a textile/printing workshop.

Thank you for St Cuthberts for inviting our Year 4 children to share in the development of their fantastic new building.  The children had a very enjoyable morning and were able to tell us lots on their return about renewable energies.

The sun shone on Sports Day helping to make it a wonderful occasion which the children greatly enjoyed. KS2 winning house – Mark

On Friday the Spiritans joined us in school and celebrated a beautiful Mass for the Feast of Saint Peter and Saint Paul.  Thank you to all those who were able to join us.

A reminder to parents/carers  of children in Year 6 that Bikeability begins on Monday 1st July.

A reminder to parents/carers of children in our Nursery – the Nursery will be closed on Friday 5th July for us to welcome the new children coming in September.
