We were delighted to welcome parents/carers in our Years 4, 5 and 6 who were invited to share in their children’s learning.
The Foundation Key Stage One staff welcomed parents/carers to learn more about how children develop the early skills of writing, during an Emergent Writing Workshop.
The children in Foundation and Key Stage One enjoyed a taste of China during our Chinese New Year Celebrations. It was lovely that so many parents/carers were able to join us, as we celebrated with music, painting, song, dance and food!

Year 5 presented a brilliant assembly to the school, community and Miss Crowley (who was invited from St Cuthberts RC High School) on Inspirational people and the true meaning of “to love one another.” Thank you to all the staff and children for their care and hard work
Next Wednesday 13th February we would like to invite parents/carers and the community to our Ash Wednesday Mass 9.15 am in the school hall, which will be celebrated by The Spiritans and include contributions from the children.
Next Friday (15th February) children are invited to make a donation to CAFOD Family Fast Day in return for wearing their own clothes to school.
School closes Friday 15th February 3.30 pm and re-opens on Monday 25th February 8.55 am.
